Urban Water Supply Reliability
CUWA’s Water Supply Reliability Report and policy principles describewhere we’ve been and where we’re going.
75% of Californians use water efficient plants in their landscaping.

With more residents than any other state, it’s imperative that California manages its water effectively.

Established in 1990, the California Urban Water Agencies (CUWA) is a non-profit corporation of 10 major urban water agencies that are responsible for about two-thirds of California’s drinking water supply. As the collective voice for the largest urban water purveyors in California, CUWA provides technical perspective to promote common understanding and consensus solutions among the urban water community.
CUWA’s recently refreshed priorities and focus areas are reflected in a new committee structure. See CUWA Current for highlights of ongoing committee work.
